Cabazon Band of Mission Indians is a small but a progressive Southern California tribe
on an arid desert near Palm Springs. Their business savvy and persistence lead the way to one of the most interesting economic phenomena in American history: Indian gaming.
We created this logotype for the Tribe to project the elegance and mysticism of their culture, as well as their sophisticated presence
in American life.

This header for an association newsletter depicts the association's inspiration to bridge the
cultures of the old and the new worlds. The vibrant color pattern sets the mood for the newsletter
content. The stylized bridge interrupts the distraction and channels the viewers' attention to
the content.

The Interpower logo,
originally sketched on a wet napkin, captures the essence of the firm's business:
electrical power production. The stylized inclusion of the sun communicates the company's mission
to harness nuclear power, the source of sun's energy, for the good of the mankind.

Petra is a multidisciplined geosciences
firm based in California with several regional offices in different parts of the State. The firm's primary business
is to examine the many layers of the earth's crust and determine the suitability of an area for human habitation.
The logo's marble surface (marble results from compressed underwater sedimentation over millions of years) is representative
of California's early geological history. (Review the animated version of the logo; 740K, 2 sec AVI file) (Review the animated version of the logo; 900K, 2 sec GIF file)

We created this logo for an innovative engineering and manufacturing firm
that is also a defense contractor for the United States military. Their product allows drivers to inflate or deflate tires
without having to stop their vehicles. It's a standard equipment on all military vehicles. The device can be a life saver as it prevents trucks and personnel carriers from getting stuck in mud and snow and thus become sitting ducks to enemy fire. In a subtle way, the logo shows fading tire tracks implying the success of the device.

Our company logo communicates our capabilities that span
across multiple disciplines and how we can bridge them for our clients. Our logo's concept, the creation of new opportunities, is steeped
deeply in our belief most opportunities arise from uncertainties, analogous to creation of new stars and galaxies from mere dust clouds.

Not much is accidental about our corporate identity work you see above.
Sure, a little luck helps, but distilling an enterprise's essence and inspirations actually involves a lot of dog work and chasing rainbows. However, the reward, the admiring smile
on the client's face (and hopefully followed by a check), makes it all the more worthwhile.
Please email us if you like to comment on our work and if we can be of a part of your inspirations. |
